When my husband and I transferred my son to Meadows Elementary last year, I was more than pleased with our decision. My son has a history of behavior problems and Mrs Ramsey, his kindergarten teacher, was extremely helpful, sweet and patient. Though the year began a bit rocky, with her help we molded his behavior so that we were having nearly no problems by the middle of the year. Wheno he began school this year and was having some problems, I expected the same sort of help and patience. Instead, his new teacher, Mrs Crowder, has been rude and easy to anger as has the principal, Mrs Green. Now I have been told that because we live out of district, even though he went to school there for the majority of last year and began there this year, we will have to transfer him. Mrs Green claims that where we live has "just come to [her] attention" despite how long my son has gone to school there. I guess that kids only come first until they become an inconvenience.
