Second, dealing with the stress of illness or injury is enough without the added stress of their dysfunctional billing system. This is the only medical establishment we have ever had a problem with. If this had been a one or two-time event, we could have forgiven them for their confusion. However, I want to warn people about this place because their billing errors have been continuous. If you pay a bill, there is no guarantee it is paid in their system. I had to fax them proof that money went from our bank account to them. If they send you a reconciliation of accounts, it does not necessarily include everything. After we paid what they said was a full accounting of all monies owed, they posted a collection notice on our credit report. They also did not remove it after assuring us it was taken care of.
There are several other fine medical establishments in the area, please save yourself the stress and headaches and go somewhere else.
Marshall Health works hand in hand together with Cabell Hospital. The facilities are equipped with over 300 hospital beds, ample parking lot, helipad to transfer patient to and from Huntington, WV. Other than staffing specialist and family doctor, Marshall Health is also a medical school that encourages medical school graduates, residence, and fellow, to study and cure wide varieties of illnesses.

This place has some good doctors, but despite this, I would urge people to go elsewhere. One reason is that when we called in the morning to get our toddler in that day due to worrisome symptoms, we were twice sent from humans to voicemails, and did not receive a call back until 3 hours later. By then we had our child seen in a different place.
